Global Warming Caused By The Sun Assert Eminent Scientists.

Anthropogenic global warming could be occurring at a slower rate than has been previously thought, reported research.Scientists say that solar radiation causes a larger role in the Earth's climate than global warming experts previously believed.

In a book published they claim that fluctuations in the definite quantity of cosmic rays striking the atmosphere directly change the amount of cloud covering the earth. High amounts of clouds cover the planet and reflects radiated heat energy from the Sun back out into space, resulting in the planet cooling down.

Eminent weather scientist Henrik Svensmark of the Danish National Space Centre leader of the research, supports the theory that the planet is experiencing a normal period of low cloud cover caused by reduced amounts of solar radiation entering the atmosphere.

He conveys it is the responsible factor for most of the global warming we are experiencing and goes on to assert, carbon dioxide emissions owed to human activity are having a smaller impact on global warming than scientists think.

The theory is a direct contradiction to the claims of the United Nations International Panel on Climate Change. Their fourth report, which conceives that human caused carbon dioxide emissions will be responsible for global warming temperature elevations of up to 4.5 C by the finish of the current century.

Svensmark deduced in his research that the calculations utilized in making this assumption largely overlooked the effect of solar radiation on cloud cover and global warming and that temperature rises caused by human activity may be in effect smaller if at all

He stated: "It was long thought that clouds were caused by climate change, but now we see that climate change is driven by clouds.

"This has not been taken into account in the models used to work out the effect carbon dioxide has had.

"We may see CO2 is responsible for much less warming than we thought and if this is the case the predictions of warming due to human activity will need to be adjusted."

Svensmark published the premier evidence from 5 years of research on the effects that Solar Radiation has on cloud production in a Proceedings of the Royal Society Journal A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences. His book "The Chilling Stars: A New Theory of Climate Change" gives a full account of his work and research.

Mr Svensmark's book accounts for results that show that solar radiation give rise to electrically charged particles and talking about when they impact the atmosphere. He states: "These particles attract water molecules from the air and cause them to clump together until they condense into clouds."

Mr Svensmark concluded from his pioneering research that the definite quantity of Solar Rays striking the Atmosphere changes with the level of magnetic activity around the Sun. During high activity, less Solar Radiation impacts the Atmosphere and so there is less cloud cover formed and this results in global warming. reduced activity is responsible for more cloud cover and as a result global cooling effects the Earth. This is what we have seen over the last Ten years with the reduction in Sunspot activity.

He states: "Evidence from ice cores show this happening long into the past. We have the highest solar activity we have had in at least 1,000 years.

"Humans are having an effect on climate change, but by not including the cosmic ray effect in models it means the results are inaccurate. The size of man's impact may be much smaller and so the man-made change is happening slower than predicted."

On an growing scale scientists accept that these effect are real.

Prof Bob Bingham, a clouds expert, Central Laboratory of the Research Councils in Rutherford said: "It is a relatively new idea, but there is evidence there for this effect on clouds."
